CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — As the lakes region of northern middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky looks ahead to spring and summer boating and camping season, the new Liberty Park and Clarksville Marina area will provide the setting this weekend for the inaugural Clarksville Boat and Outdoor
Show.
This first-time event will be held at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 1190 Cumberland Drive, and hours are Friday, March 15, 12 noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 16, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, March 17, 12 noon to 5 p.m.
The event is presented by Bill Roberts Thunder Road Automotive & Marine. Admission to the show is $10 per vehicle
.
Event organizers say that, with the completion of the Clarksville Marina at Liberty Park in 2012, the time is right to establish Clarksville as a key boating community on the Cumberland River. “We are excited about the Clarksville Boat and Outdoor Show and its prospects for the community,” Bill Roberts said.
“It is our desire that the show grows in both sponsorship and attendance to become one of the largest in the state,” he said.
Augustine Insurance will be providing insurance reviews, comparisons and risk assesments for your boating, water craft and atv needs.
Factory representatives from several boat manufacturers will be on hand showing their sleek watercrafts, including Monterey, Bryant, Stingray, Crestliner and Harris.
